Hi, we need to update some apps on our user’s macbook. Is this something that Hexnode can do for us? for example, we need to update Safari on someone’s computer

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.
If the app to be updated is a VPP app, you can add them to a Mandatory app policy and apply the policy to the macOS device. The app will get silently updated on the device without any user intervention.
For updating an enterprise app, you will have to update the PKG file in the Hexnode app inventory at first.
If the app was deployed via Mandatory app policy, the updated version would be pushed to the device while we replace the old PKG file with the new one.
Else, you can push the updated app to the device via remote actions. Check out the help doc on updating Enterprise app on macOS devices to get more info.
