Certainly! You can add iOS devices to ABM even if they are not purchased from an authorized Apple reseller. As suggested by @Quintin, you can make use of Apple Configurator enrollment for adding iOS devices to Apple Business Manager manually. Yet there are certain specifications that needs to be considered before you proceed.
- Ensure that the device runs iOS 11 or later.
- If the device is already in use, it needs to be wiped and reset to initiate the enrollment.
- You should have at least one iOS device directly purchased from Apple or Apple Authorized Reseller.
- Apple Configurator 2.0 should be running version 2.5 or later.
Apple Configurator enrollment can be completed successfully if all of the conditions mentioned above are met.
