Hi Robson,

Please let me know whether your device supervised. The Lost mode works on supervised devices. If the device isn’t supervised, refer this article ( to make it supervised. You can use either Apple Configurator or DEP to make the device a supervised one.

This video will walk you through the steps to supervise an iOS device.


To check whether a device is supervised, go to Management tab in Hexnode MDM console and select a device. Under Hardware Info, you can see whether the supervision is turned on or off.

Once the device is supervised, retry sending the message. If the problem persists, please let us know.
