Deploying Hexnode XDR agents into endpoints enrolled in Ivanti equips organizations with a centralized security-focused console for monitoring the device fleet. Using Ivanti UEM ensures the XDR agent is delivered across all managed endpoints and strengthens overall threat detection.

How do you deploy Hexnode XDR agent through Ivanti?

Step 1- Install XDR agent file from Hexnode XDR portal

Before you can deploy the Hexnode XDR agent, you must first download the XDR agent package from your Hexnode XDR portal. For this,

1. Log into the Hexnode XDR portal.
2. Navigate to the Endpoints tab and click on Installation.
3. Look for the available Hexnode XDR Agent packages which are listed. The list contains the newer and updated versions of the XDR Agent.
4. Select the version that is compatible with your device, then click the download button to obtain the installer as .msi package.
5. Copy the portal token which is the passkey that is to be entered while installing the agent at the endpoint.

Now this package must be added to the Ivanti UEM portal.

Step 2- Adding XDR agent package to Ivanti UEM

1. Log in to your Ivanti UEM console.
2. Navigate to Apps > App Catalog.
3. Click Add > Windows > In-House App.
4. Upload the Hexnode XDR .msi file you have installed.
5. Fill in the app details:
   • App Name
   • Version
   • Description
   • Publisher

Step 3- Deploying the XDR app into devices

1. Go to Distribution > Device Groups/Labels.
2. Select the Windows device group(s)/labels for deployment.
3. Assign the Hexnode XDR .msi package to these groups.
4. Click Save/Done to confirm.

Once assigned, devices will automatically fetch and install the XDR package on their next check-in.
