Wipe device action and Bitlocker policy on Windows bootcamp instancesSolved

I’ve set up a Windows instance on my macOS device using bootcamp and enrolled it successfully to Hexnode UEM. I was wondering if the Wipe Device action and the Bitlocker policy can be executed in it.

Hello @vera-lopez , Welcome to Hexnode Connect!

You can go ahead and implement these actions. Wipe Device action and BitLocker policy work successfully on Windows instances installed with Bootcamp.

Here are a few things to keep in mind while executing these features:

  • On executing the Wipe Device action, the installed Operating System will be reset, and the windows instance will get disenrolled.
  • BitLocker has certain hardware specifications, so the policy has to be configured accordingly. Please have a look at our detailed document on managing BitLocker for better insight.

Hope this helps. Do get back to us in case of any further queries.
