Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

In case of Android devices, you can deploy OS updates to Android 5.0+ devices with Hexnode System Agent app in /system/priv-app directory and signed by OEM vendor:

    1. Navigate to the Manage tab and select the desired devices.
    2. Click on the Actions button and choose the option Update OS. Provide the Update file URL and the File hash of the update ZIP file.
    3. You will have the option to choose whether the updates should be installed automatically or the users be prompted to install the update. Click on Update.

You can also schedule the OS updates on devices enrolled in Android Enterprise:

    1. Please navigate to Policies-> Android-> Security-> OS Updates and click Configure.
    2. Click on the drop-down list next to the option System update settings and make the choice based on your requirements. You can schedule the OS updates to happen automatically / during inactive hours, or you can even postpone the update.
    3. Associate targets and save the policy.

In case of iOS devices, the updates can be enforced only on Supervised devices. Prior to iOS 10.3, the device needs to be DEP-enrolled for enforcing the updates. Follow the steps for enforcing the updates:

    1. Please navigate to Manage tab, select the desired device and click on Actions button.
    2. Choose the option Update OS. You will have the option to either only download or download and install the updates.

You can schedule the updates in the case of macOS devices:

    1. Navigate to Policies-> macOS-> Security-> OS Updates and click Configure.
    2. Click on the drop-down list next to the option Choose your OS update settings and make the choice based on your requirements. You will have the following options: Install later, Download Only, Download and Install, Install and Notify only.
    3. Associate targets and save the policy.

    Cheers!
