We have set up l2tp vpn using policies in our iphones with hexnode. So we filled in the usual details and for username we gave wildcard %email%. But now after applying policy we notice that users are prompted to enter password on their phone. This actually happens each time they try to connect with vpn. you guys got any tips you could share that helped you with this?

Hey maybe try changing the authentication to rsa securid? U wouldn’t have all this trouble with password then.

Thanks for the suggestion. But we don’t want to switch to rsa securid since we have certain security concerns.

Could you please check and get back on if you had provided the password while configuring the VPN policy?
If not, please ensure you have provided the password after selecting the User Authentication as Password while configuring the policy by navigating to Policies > iOS > Network > VPN.
Try it out and keep me posted on any updates.
