Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

You will not be able to block the user from configuring the password on the device. However, Hexnode can clear the password on Android devices via remote Actions.

In case of Android 7.0+ devices, enroll them in Android Enterprise with Hexnode for work app v7.6.9+. Activate the password token in Hexnode for work app once for the action to work.

For devices enrolled in Profile Owner mode, only the work profile password can be cleared by this method. To clear password from the device:

1. Navigate to Manage-> Devices and select the desired device.
2. Click on Actions button and choose the option ‘Clear Password’.
