    Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Yes, you can remotely configure Wi-Fi and Email for iOS devices using Hexnode.
    Please follow the below steps for configuring Wi-Fi:

    1. Navigate to Policies-> iOS-> Network-> Wi-Fi and click Configure.
    2. Configure the different Wi-Fi settings such as SSID, Security type, password, proxy. Also, make the choice whether the device should get automatically connected to the network and if the device should get connected to hidden network.
    3. Associate targets and save the policy.

    Cool feature. Only if it worked properly……almost all of our employees own a work mac and a work phone. Tried to get their work email automatically configured on all their devices. But failed.

    Here u go @deborah.

    1. I am able to see my previously got emails but it is not syncing properly. When a  new message is sent, it does not appear on all the devices. It comes only on a single device. Even when a mail that is already present on all the devices is deleted from one device, by some magic it will still be there on the other device.
    2. Enterprise
    3. Microsoft outlook
    4. POP
  • The problem seems to be with the account type- POP. This type of mail account can be used only on one device. Once the user opens the mail, it is deleted from the server. The mails then exist only on the device. When the same mail is opened on a different device, these mails cannot be retrieved from the server. Therefore, changes made in the account of one device will not be reflected on other devices.
    Switch to IMAP to avoid this problem. Configure the account with the following details:

    Incoming Mail Server: outlook.office365.com

    Incoming Server Port: 993

    Outgoing Mail Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com

    Outgoing Server Port: 587

    Hope that helps
