San Francisco, January 23, 2020: Businesses have historically struggled when it comes to managing enterprise mobility at scale. San Francisco based Hexnode is a company that’d set out to change that. For the latter half of the past decade, Hexnode’s Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions have been helping businesses manage device deployment, improve productivity, and strengthen compliance.

Hexnode today announced plans to further IoT as a key piece of its strategy for unified mobile, desktop, and smart devices management. What started out with Apple TV management in 2017, Hexnode’s IoT pursuit has spawned more platforms like Amazon Fire OS, dedicated features for Android-powered displays, and support for industrial and rugged devices through OEMConfig.

Our customers have been asking for an easier way to manage smart devices. They used to rely on legacy frameworks that tend to be lacking in usability and tethered to a single ecosystem. Hexnode solutions have always been about breaking down siloed management of endpoints, and enabling a seamless experience around connected devices, apps, and content,

said Apu Pavithran, CEO of Hexnode.

Hexnode’s solutions have been consistently rated high across major vendor rankings, customer review sites, and peer rating platforms. Hexnode MDM has been recognized as a Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) tools twice in 2019– in April and November. Customers’ Choice is a distinction based on verified customer reviews from end-user professionals, carefully vetted by Gartner.

Customers have been super stoked about our releases in the past. We’re sure the new additions will be well received,

Apu added.

Hexnode’s Unified Endpoint Management solution now supports cellphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, smart TVs, and even barcode scanners and RFID readers. However, they are not going to stop, Hexnode will soon roll out support for wearables, printers, and even smart devices that run on non-standard operating systems. Hexnode will also continue to strengthen its core product offerings centered around endpoint security and compliance. In Apu’s words,

When business productivity takes center stage, the compliance needs of the enterprise are often forgotten, which is why we will continue to invest in building products that inspire positive change in information security processes.
