Trademark Guidelines
Ownership and acknowledgement
By using a Hexnode trademark, in whole or in part, you are acknowledging that Hexnode is the sole owner of the trademark and promising that you will not interfere with Hexnode’s rights in the trademark, including challenging Hexnode’s use, registration of, or application to register such trademark, alone or in combination with other words, anywhere in the world, and that you will not harm, misuse, or bring into disrepute any Hexnode trademark. Except for the limited right to use as expressly permitted under these Guidelines, no other rights of any kind are granted hereunder, by implication or otherwise.
Permitted and prohibited use
Any use of the Hexnode Brand Assets not in accordance with the guidelines is strictly prohibited. Hexnode Brand Assets are the intellectual property of Hexnode. By leveraging or making reference to any Hexnode Brand Asset, you agree to comply with the guidelines and the User Terms of Service. Hexnode is the sole owner of the Hexnode Brand Assets and you shall not challenge or interfere with Hexnode’s rights in its Brand Assets.
Monitoring, revision and termination
Hexnode can review the use of our Brand Assets at any time, and we shall reserve the right to terminate or alter the permissions already granted by Hexnode. The right to revise or update the guidelines is at the sole discretion of Hexnode.
General rules
- Hexnode’s products and services can be referenced using the Hexnode trademark and the references should be fair, truthful and not be misinterpreted.
- Do not use Hexnode brand assets as a part of trademarks, logos, company name, icon, the domain name of your brand. Do not physically intermingle Hexnode brand assets with your logo. They must remain distinct.
- Do not use a domain name that uses “Hexnode” or similar terms. Don’t use Hexnode brand assets in a derogatory way in a website/social media that violates law and Hexnode’s user terms.
- You may not use a Hexnode trademark or symbol, logo, or icon in a disparaging manner.
- You may not use any Hexnode trademark, including symbols/logos, or icons, in a manner that would imply Hexnode’s affiliation with or endorsement, sponsorship, or support of a third-party product or service.
- You may not manufacture, sell or give-away merchandise items, such as T-shirts and mugs, bearing any Hexnode trademark, including symbols, logos, or icons, except pursuant to an express written trademark license from Hexnode.
Depiction of Hexnode
If you are a developer, you may show an image of a Hexnode product in your promotional/advertising materials to depict that your product is compatible with, or otherwise works with Hexnode, provided you comply with the following requirements:
- a.Your product is in fact compatible with, or otherwise works with, the referenced Hexnode.
- b.Hexnode is shown only in the best light, in a manner or context that reflects favourably on the Hexnode products. The reference to Hexnode does not create a sense of endorsement or sponsorship by, or other false association with, Hexnode or Hexnode products.
