What effect does the disenroll action have on a DEP device?

I know that dep devices cannot remove device management from device side. When there are dep enrolled devices and other apple devices and disenroll action is initiated on all, what difference does it have?

    Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

    When disenroll action is initiated on a device, whether it is enrolled in DEP or not, the device will be removed from the Hexnode portal. It will no longer be managed by Hexnode. However, the device will still be listed in the DEP portal.
