Good morning!
I am trying to setup a vpn connection on my ios device. But even after successful policy association, the vpn connection is not setup on the device. The device in use is iphone 8. Any suggestions to troubleshoot the problem.

Welcome to the Hexnode community.
Before configuring a Perimeter 81 VPN on an iOS device, the Perimeter 81 application must be installed on the device. Deploy the app to iOS devices using the Install action or associating a Mandatory app policy.

I installed the perimeter app and associated the policy to the device. Still, the vpn connection is not configured on the device.

Hey @da. This could be caused due to the incorrect values provided in the VPN policy. Please get in contact with Perimeter to check the values you have specified when deploying the VPN configuration.

What is the difference between remote identifier and local identifier. Or are they the same.

Remote identifier is the server address and the local id is the vpn username the organization has given you.
