Is there any way I can set up the same contact list on some of our enrolled devices?

Thanks for reaching out to us, @waylen.

Yes, you can easily achieve this on your enrolled Android devices. The Import Contacts to Devices action allows users to remotely import their contacts to their Android devices using a vCard (.vcf) file.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Generate a vCard file with all the required contacts.
  2. Go to the Manage tab and select the required Android devices on which you need to set up your contacts list.
  3. From Actions, select Import Contacts to Devices.
  4. Upload the vCard file. Check the option Delete existing contacts if you wish to delete all the existing contacts on the devices. Click Import.

All the contacts in the uploaded vCard file will now be successfully transferred to the selected Android devices.

To learn more about generating a vCard file, see here.

Hope that answers your query.

Cheers!

When using the “Delete Existing Contacts” option, can it be limited to only deleting the phone contacts? Currently, this feature also deletes any contacts in exchange and other accounts.

Hey @Robert, thank you for reaching out to us.

We completely understand the appeal of limiting the scope of the delete action to the contacts stored on the device while importing new contacts via the portal. However, we currently do not have the capability to limit the scope of the delete action.

Nevertheless, we will raise a feature request on your behalf and keep you posted on any updates.

Best Regards,
