Hi Leo, there will be an option to change the device name inside the Manage tab.

Thank you Preston for your help, but I was not able to find the option to change the device name for Windows devices inside the Manage tab. Are there any alternative methods to be followed?

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately, we do not have the option to change the device name of Windows devices. This feature is exclusive for supervised iOS devices. However, Hexnode provides you with a similar feature where you can set a friendly name for all devices (Including Windows). This feature can be accessed from Manage tab -> Actions.

Setting a friendly name for your device changes the display name of the device inside the Hexnode portal but it does not change the device name of the device. Click on the link for a better understanding on how to set friendly names.
