I need to stop the contents being copied from the apps in work profile to the apps normally on the device.

Hey, Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help.
Please navigate to policies. You can create a new policy or choose to edit an already existing one. Select Android–>Advanced Restrictions–> Copy contents between normal and work profiles. Disable the option to prevent copying apps in normal profile to the app in the work profile and vice-versa. Associate targets and save the policy.
