    Hey, Thanks for the reply.

Hexnode can remove apps from enrolled Android devices without having physical access to them.
In Samsung Knox devices, rooted devices and devices which run Hexnode MDM as a system app, the app uninstallation will be silent. In case of other generic devices, a prompt will appear on the device screen when you try to uninstall the app.
Please note that system apps cannot be removed from Android devices.

To remove app from a single device:

    • Navigate to Manage-> Devices and click on the desired device. You will be directed to the device summary page.
    • Go to the Applications sub-tab. Click on the trash icon next to app you wish to uninstall.
    • Click on Uninstall app. Click on Yes to confirm the action.

The action to uninstall the app will now be initiated.

If you have to remove the app from multiple devices, you can do it via remote actions.

    Cheers!

    Hey, Thanks for posting.

Yes, Hexnode will be able to remove managed apps from iOS devices.

To remove apps from on one single device:

    1. Navigate to Manage-> Devices, click on the desired device.
    2. You will be directed to device summary page. Go to Applications sub-tab.
    3. Click on the gear icon next to the app to be removed.
    4. Click on Uninstall app and click Yes.
    5. Enter the password of the Hexnode account. The command for uninstallation of app will be initiated.

If an app is to be removed from multiple devices, you can do it via remote actions.

If the app is in kiosk mode, on deleting it from the app inventory, it will be removed from kiosk. But will not be uninstalled from the device.

    Cheers!
