Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

Geofencing is a location-based service. You can create a virtual fence around a geographical region and apply restrictions to the devices as it enters or exits the virtual boundary.
To create a fence:

  1. Navigate to Admin-> Geofencing.
  2. Click on Create Fence and select a region by typing the location in the text box.
  3. Draw a rectangular fence over the region and click Save.

To apply a configuration along with the Geofence policy,

  1. Navigate to Policies-> General Settings-> +Add Fence and select the created fence from the list.
  2. Click OK. Set up the desired configurations.
  3. Associate targets and save the policy.

When the device moves out of the fence, the device will be marked as non-compliant. When a device is marked as non-compliant, the user and admin can be notified:

  1. Navigate to Admin-> Notifications.
  2. Enable the option ‘Device out of compliance’ under Notify the administrators on (to notify admins) and Notify the associated users on (to notify users).
  3. Click Save.
