Previously, editing various device attributes such as department, asset tag, device notes, etc., was a gruesome task, as you need to manually edit those details for individual devices. You may be looking forward for ways to get this done remotely in bulk. And, we’ve got this covered in our latest update.
Starting from today, you can see a new action ‘Edit Device Attribute’ included under Manage > Actions.
With this, you can now edit the device details, including the device name, asset tag info, department, ownership, device notes, and description of devices in bulk with a single click from the MDM console. You can either provide them with a collective name for easy identification or if you want to provide them with distinct names, upload the details via a CSV file.
