Our devices in the site, needs to get prevented from connecting to other sources via both USB and NFC. Is that even possible?

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please navigate to Windows–>Advanced Restrictions–>Allow Device Functionality. You will be able to find the following options:
NFC: Uncheck the option to disable the users to allow NFC on their device.
USB connection: Uncheck the option to disable the USB connection between the device and a computer.
Both options are supported on Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile
Configure the options based on your requirements. Associate targets and save the policy.

Kindly use the help link to get more insights into restrictions for Windows devices.

Cheers!

Will disabling the USB connectivity in Windows devices prevent the use of USB mouse and keyboard as well? If it does, is there any way to allow devices connected via USB?

Hey Bruce ,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Unchecking the option “USB Connection” under Advanced Restrictions for Windows devices will restrict USB storage devices like hard disks and pen drives. It will not affect the working of peripheral devices like keyboards and mouse connected via the USB ports.

Hope this clears your query!

Cheers!
