Some situations demand to keep VPN connected all the time on your devices. With the Hexnode’s latest update, you could get this connection type configured for all your iOS devices.
With this, you could now allow traffic from captive web sheet outside the VPN tunnel, allow traffic from all/selected captive networking apps outside the VPN tunnel, and much more.
You can also exempt certain system services such as Voicemail and AirPrint from connecting to VPN.
Here is where you can configure this.
- Navigate to Policies > iOS > VPN from your Hexnode portal.
- Choose the connection type as Always-on.
This can be enabled only on supervised iOS devices.
