Removing Work Profile on Android device with Hexnode MDM

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

The devices enrolled in Android Enterprise as Profile Owner will have a work container separate from the normal device workspace.

To remove this work profile from the device, you can disenroll the device:

1. Navigate to Manage-> Devices and select the desired device.
2. Click on the Actions button and choose the option ‘Disenroll device’. The disenroll action will now be initiated.

When the device disenrollment gets completed, the work profile will be removed from the device.

You can also deactivate the work container via policy:

1. Navigate to Policies-> General Settings-> Android Enterprise- Compliance.
2. Select the option ‘Deactivate Android for Work container on non-compliance‘ and specify the time interval for deactivation
3. Associate targets and save the policy.

If the device becomes non-compliant, the container will get deactivated after the specified time interval.
