I’ve been trying to reset an iPhone that belonged to a previous employer but the wipe device action with clear activation lock option enabled keeps failing with an error “Activation Lock was not enabled on the device.

Hello @dylan,

Can you please check if the Activation Lock restriction under iOS > Advanced Restrictions > Allow Privacy and Security Settings has been enabled? If not, the Clear Activation Lock action will fail, which in turn will cause the Wipe Device action to fail too.
If activation lock has not been enabled on the device, then please execute the Wipe Device action without enabling the Clear Activation Lock option.

Execute wipe device action with clear activation lock disabled

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks! I was under the assumption that activation lock would be enabled as Find My was turned on in the device, hence the confusion.
