The Password policy in Hexnode for Windows devices defines password settings for the local account users only. For the devices joined to Azure AD or the ones to which users log in with their Azure Active Directory credentials, the password requirements cannot be configured using the policy.

Azure AD has its own password policies that can be associated with all the user accounts managed in it. In addition, you may also configure password and account lockout policies on Azure AD Domain Services. It helps you specify password requirements to different users in a domain.
