Disable MAC address randomization for iOS Wi-Fi

Hexnode brings up a lot of exciting features and improvements with its every release.

We’re delighted about the new enhancement on the iOS Wi-Fi policy – Disable MAC address randomization.

In the beta version of iOS 14, Apple introduced MAC randomization, where the device uses a randomized MAC address while scanning or connecting to a wireless network. Though it prevents outsiders from intruding on user privacy, it necessitates the user to reconnect to the network more often.

This setting ‘Disable MAC address randomization’ prevents randomized MAC addresses and permits the users to connect to the given Wi-Fi network automatically.

You can configure it by navigating to Policies > iOS > Network > Wi-Fi.
