Self Service for Windows is on the way Solved

Standard users, meet privilege (with limits).

We’re bringing Self Service device management to Windows, giving standard account users a secure and controlled way to temporarily elevate privileges for specific administrative tasks. Users get the access they need while IT admins keeps full control.

Users can request short-term admin access directly from the Hexnode UEM app. IT admins manage the settings from the Hexnode portal, deciding how long access lasts and how many times it can be used each day. Once the timer runs out, admin rights automatically revert, restoring the device’s original security.

It’s flexibility for users and peace of mind for IT admins.

The feature is on its way, so stay tuned for the rollout!
