Google Translate Camera in Kiosk ModeSolved

Hello guys,

I am currently working on a kiosk mode for tablets for the truck drivers in our company. They would like to have documents translated in Google translate. To do this, they need access to the camera. The system’s own camera app is activated and working. However, when I click on the camera icon in the Google translate app, I only get an “Access Denied” message. After that you end up back on the start page.

I have already found out that google translate uses the “google lens”. That’s why I installed and enabled it. I can’t open the Google lens at all. The “Access Denied Message” appears immediately.

Does anyone have any idea where I can set more settings? I would be very grateful for any help.

Hello @Nickvs177, welcome to Hexnode Connect!

Could you please verify if there are any blocked packages associated with these apps? If there are, kindly add them as background apps and give it a try.

You can refer to this troubleshooting document for step-by-step guidance: Blocked Package Error for Android Devices Locked in Kiosk Mode.

If the issue persists, feel free to reach out to us.
