Hey @lars,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Hexnode UEM provides an option to configure new admin accounts on macOS devices enrolled via DEP. To access this, head over to Enroll > All Enrollments > Apple Business/School Manager > DEP Configuration Profiles > Configure DEP Profile.

Fill in the required fields and toggle Configure User Accounts checkbox to set up user accounts. Setting up a new account is restricted to an administrator account.

To create unique account names for employees, make use of wildcards in the required fields. The admin is also provided with an option to hide the account name from the user.

Hope that helps.

Cheers!

@birgitta To configure local accounts on macOS devices, select Create User Account action for a particular device under the Manage tab.

Select Standard as the account type and provide the required details. The use of wildcards is also supported to help configure individual accounts.

The device need not be enrolled via DEP to achieve this functionality. Please ensure the latest version of the Hexnode Agent app is installed on the device.

Hope this clears your query.
