Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

The option ‘Scan Device Location’ will be disabled by default. For the option to be enabled, you will have to associate a location tracking policy to the devices.
Please follow the below steps for the same:

  1. Login to the portal and navigate to Policies-> General Settings-> Location Tracking. 
  2. Click Configure. You will find the following options to be configured:
    Enable the Location Tracking: Check this option to enable location tracking on target devices.
    Location Update Interval: The location update interval can be chosen by clicking on the drop-down list next to this option
  3. Associate targets and save the policy.

On associating the policy to the device, the Scan Device Location action will be enabled.
You can now remotely fetch the device location by initiating a scan device location action from the Hexnode console.
