Allow Mac users to install apps only from App store

Please navigate to the Policies tab. Create a new policy or you can also modify an already existing policy. Navigate to macOS->Advanced Restrictions. Beneath the ‘App installation from’ option will be a drop-down list. Select the option ‘Mac App Store’ to restrict the app installation only to the Mac App Store. If the option ‘Mac App Store and identified developers’ is selected, apps downloaded from the Mac App Store and identified developers are allowed.
