Will disabling backups stop sync services?

How exactly do we stop backup to Google drive through Hexnode?

Make sure that the option “Sync data with Google account” in Advanced Restrictions is enabled. This will let your device including your contacts to sync with the Google account.

You can prevent users from backing up to the Google drive by disabling the “Backup service” option found in the Restrictions sub-tab of the Android Policies. Note that this restriction is applicable only to Android 8.0+ devices enrolled in Android Enterprise. Refer to our help doc to know more about applying restrictions
