Had this issue a while back. I had forgotten to push the app catalog.

Hello Jay Morris,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Using the feature Store Layouts, only the Google Play Store on Android Enterprise devices can be customized. Kindly check if your devices are enrolled in Android Enterprise or not. Also, check if you have created and deployed an App catalog having apps added in your Store Layout to your device.

Cheers!!

Our devices are enrolled in Android Enterprise as profile owners. Hadn’t pushed catalog. Done now. Still the same.

@jay-morris

Go to Apps > +Add apps > Managed Google Apps > Organize Apps. Check if you can see the configured layout here. Adding a Store Layout in Hexnode changes the layout in this section too. Many a time, people unintentionally change the layout in the console of managed Google Play. If the apps are removed from this section, they will not be seen on the device. Make changes to the Organize Apps section to display the layout you want.

Cheers!!

@deborah yes. Problem solved. Though I don’t remember making changes in the organize app section. It might have been done by other admin.
