Spotify Premium APK v9.0.74.823 not working on Android 13 – missing manifest or patch issue?Solved

Hey folks,

I’ve been testing a few customized APKs recently and ran into something odd with Spotify Premium APK v9.0.74.823 on Android 13 (Pixel 6, stock). The app installs fine via ADB or direct APK sideload, but when launching it, I either get a crash or a frozen splash screen — no error message, just stuck.

Tried decompiling it and noticed there’s either:

A corrupted or missing manifest line for target SDK 33

Or some issue with libsplite.so under /lib/arm64-v8a/ that might relate to split APKs or signature patching (using Revanced-style mod framework)

I know some patchers use custom signing or clone-mod frameworks that trip up newer Android runtime permissions.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a reliable fix for this build? Is it safer to recompile after patching with adjusted SDK targeting, or are there other workarounds you’d recommend?

Not sure if this was due to how I originally got the APK, but just in case others are testing similar builds, I’ll link the version I tested [link removed until approved] — it’s from modhello.com, which has a few stable builds for these modded apps.

Let me know if you’d like to see the logcat snippet too — happy to share!

Thanks in advance!
