With Hexnode’s Kernel Extension for Mac, you could now load the kernel extension (kexts) on end-user’s devices.
The applications and installers that use kexts, can now be loaded on user’s devices, can user override the kexts that have not been whitelisted, and you could even set restrictions on loading these user-approved kexts.
Kernal Extension is supported only on macOS devices running 10.13.2 and above.
Here is where you can configure this.
- Login to your Hexnode portal.
- Navigate to Policies > macOS > Configurations > Kernal Extensions.
