The location permission for the Hexnode app has been set to “Allow only while using app”. Will this affect the way in which the device location is being fetched in the portal?

You wouldn’t be able to accurately fetch the location I believe. The location can be fetched only if the app is running.

Yeah I think too that the location cannot be fetched at all times if the permission is not set to “Always allow”. But, if the app is made to run in the background at all times, it’ll be able to fetch the location without any issue.

Hexnode MDM app will be running in the background at all times. So, it will be able to fetch the location of your device even if the location permission has been set to “Allow only while using the app”. However, if you force close the Hexnode MDM app, it will not be able to fetch the location as it will not be running in the background until you manually open the app again or restart the device.
