Hi Nick,

Hope you are doing well,

As you make use of Hexnode to manage your Android TV devices, you would have to make use of the generic enrolment method. This would involve you downloading the Hexnode UEM app from the Google Play store, providing the portal name and proceeding to accept the required permissions.

One of the permissions that would be required is the device admin permission and accepting this would be essential as it would allow Hexnode to manage the device. Due to this, it is essential for the device to be able to grant the device admin permission to the Hexnode app. If the device that you are making use of is able to grant the device admin permission, you would be able to manage it using Hexnode.

A list of devices that are commonly used would include Beelink TV boxes, ViewSonic EP5540T, Amlogic X6 PRO, Giada DN73 and X96 minis. These are just a few examples, but you could always make use of the devices that are able to grant the device admin privilege. We would also like to add that Hexnode does not have an integration nor do we endorse any of the mentioned brands/models. Due to this, we cannot guarantee full support and we recommend that these are tested and evaluated as well.

Here is a detailed help doc to guide you as you look to manage your Android TV devices
