Can anyone tell if the OAuth option inside the ExchangeActiveSync policy for iOS has OAuth 2 support.
We have Exchange Online and was wondering if this meets Microsoft requirement for modern Authentication. Since they will be turning off basic Authentication this year.
Hello @Min-Ka, the short answer is you got it covered.
Starting iOS 14.0, Exchange accounts configured for Microsoft cloud-based services (such as Office365 or outlook.com) that uses OAuth authentication are automatically enhanced to use Microsoft’s OAuth 2.0 authentication service. So, when you enable OAuth from the policy, it will support OAuth 2.0 wherever applicable.
