OEMConfig is a device management feature exclusive to devices enrolled in Android Enterprise. OEMConfig apps are published on Managed Google Play Store. They allow you to configure features and restrictions on your OEM devices.
OEMConfig apps open numerous opportunities to manage enterprise devices efficiently. These apps are applicable only to their corresponding OEM devices. For instance, Knox Service Plugin is an OEMConfig app available only for Samsung Knox devices.
Organizations can use OEMConfig apps to configure settings on their devices without any further delay. These apps can be used to configure device settings like hotspot, lock action, or connectivity settings like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Airplane mode, or other advanced settings.
