Hey, Thanks for reaching out.

Please navigate to Android Kiosk Lockdown-> Peripheral Settings-> Display. Check the ‘Enable status bar’ option to receive the notifications in status bar, just like outside kiosk.
Also, make sure you have not enabled the ‘hide status bar’ option in Android->Advanced Restrictions and have not checked the ‘Disable system bars’ in rooted device. If the ‘users can turn device off’ option is disabled, the notification area will retract automatically.
