As we get started with our first-ever in-person user conference, HexCon24, your favorite UEM provider has some exciting new updates for you. Many of you might already have heard from the keynote announcement, but for those who missed it, Hexnode is extending support to ChromeOS devices. 🥳 🥳
In the initial phase, you will be able to set up policies for imposing passcodes, restrictions, managing applications, configuring network settings, and more. You will also be able to execute remote actions and monitor device activity.
What’s new with the new ChromeOS update?
- Enroll your devices to Hexnode: To get started and enroll your devices, enter the Google Workspace credentials to add your devices to the Google Admin console and enroll your devices to Hexnode. Alternatively, you can send enrollment requests to your users to have them enroll their devices.
- Configure Remote Actions: Execute remote actions to scan, restart, or disenroll your device. You can also quickly secure your lost devices and data with actions, by locking down device in lost mode or executing a device wipe.
- Impose Passcode requirements and Device Restrictions: Secure your devices and data from unauthorized access by imposing passcode requirements, and set up device restrictions that comply with your organizational requirements.
- Manage your applications: Remotely deploy and manage applications to secure your app and app data while maintaining a consistent user experience. You can manage web apps, store apps, and enterprise apps.
- Configure Network Settings: Remotely configure Wi-Fi settings to allow users access to corporate Wi-Fi networks automatically.
Our developers have worked hard to deliver all of this to you. So let us know what you think about the latest release. And if you have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to hit us up any time. Send us an email at support@hexnode.com or ping us at here Hexnode Connect.
