Ghost user

I am hoping to get some help on an issue I am facing.

We had a user leave the company only to return about a year later.

During his absence his account (local) was removed/deleted from Hexnode as his device was reissued to someone else.

I added an account for him back into Hexnode today using the same username etc as before but the newly setup device connects to the old deleted account and says “User Removed” when viewing.

How do I completely remove the old account? Or is it simpler to just use a different username?
