We’re bringing an upgrade to how compliance is handled in Hexnode!
Until now, compliance configurations lived under Admin > General Settings and applied globally across platforms. But now, we’re introducing the Compliance Policy, a more flexible way to manage compliance.
You’ll find it under Policies > Compliance Policies in the Hexnode portal.
With the Compliance Policy, you’ll be able to:
- Define compliance rules tailored for each platform and device, just like you would with any regular policy.
- Use two tiers of configuration:
- Basic Settings: These would be the compliance settings that you’re already familiar with; the ones currently listed within General Settings.
- Advanced Settings: Here’s where it gets exciting! You’ll be able to set up customized conditions to define whether a device is compliant or non-compliant, based on various criteria like OS version, agent version, device encryption, and more.
And if you’re looking for a quicker start, we’ll have templates to help you create and deploy compliance policies more efficiently.
Cheers,
Eden Pierce
