“Cannot connect to iTunes” error during iOS app installation

When trying to install Store apps from the portal to one of my iOS devices, the app installation failed with an error message in the Action History which said that it could not connect to the iTunes store.

    • Verify Apple’s system status page to check whether there are no service interruptions in your region or country.

    • Check whether the date and time of the device are set correctly.
