Hexnode Access adds Okta integration and smarter login settings

Hexnode Access is stepping up its identity management game with the latest update, introducing Okta integration and a suite of new login enhancements aimed at giving IT teams more control and users a smoother sign-in experience.

With Okta now joining the list of supported identity providers, organizations can extend their existing SSO workflows to Hexnode Access, streamlining authentication across cloud and endpoint environments.

But that’s not all, this update also brings in support for custom EULA prompts, password sync with cloud accounts, and user-initiated password resets, making secure access management more customizable, compliant, and user-friendly than ever.

What’s new in Hexnode Access

Okta integration

Hexnode Access now supports Okta as an identity provider, allowing organizations already using Okta to seamlessly extend their authentication workflows to managed devices. This integration enables unified access policies across both cloud applications and endpoints, simplifying user provisioning and improving security through centralized control.

Custom EULA during first login

Admins can now configure custom End User License Agreements (EULA) that appear during a user’s initial login. This ensures that users acknowledge company policies, legal terms, or usage guidelines before gaining access to their devices—making it easier to maintain compliance across the organization.

Password sync with identity provider

With password synchronization enabled, user credentials are kept in sync between their cloud identity account and enrolled devices. This helps maintain consistency across platforms, reduces failed login attempts, and supports better enforcement of password policies – leading to fewer access-related issues and a smoother experience for end users.

User-initiated password resets

Users can now reset their passwords on their own, using your linked identity provider’s recovery flow. This self-service option eliminates the need to contact IT for routine password resets, reducing ticket volume and empowering users with faster, more secure access recovery.

Ready to streamline access?

With modern workplaces demanding faster onboarding, stricter compliance, and reduced IT friction, this update to Hexnode Access brings the right mix of automation and control. Whether it’s aligning with company policy through EULA enforcement or minimizing helpdesk dependency with password sync and reset, these features are built for scale.

All the new features are now live for Hexnode Access users. To start configuring these capabilities, head over to the guide or contact our support team for assistance.
