San Francisco, CA, 13th December 2021: Hexnode, a global leader in the UEM industry, announced a new partnership with Cloudflare, a prominent web security solution on 10th December 2021. While Hexnode ensures customer endpoint security, Cloudflare makes corporate networks and access, secure. The Hexnode-Cloudflare integration will allow IT administrators to manage their fleet of devices using a secure and user-friendly solution.

With hybrid work, BYODs and corporate-owned devices are being extensively used within enterprises. For those enterprises that wish to install corporate apps in bulk on their devices, deploying them to their device fleet will be a difficult undertaking. This is where Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions come into play. The Hexnode UEM-Cloudflare integration helps organizations to remotely distribute and configure the Cloudflare WARP agent app on iOS, Android, Mac and Windows endpoints. Furthermore, app updates can be pushed in one go.

Hexnode has launched a new feature, custom configurations, to make device management much easier. IT administrators can specify Cloudflare restrictions and configurations in Apple devices (iOS, Apple TV, and Mac) via custom configurations by uploading files in the .mobileconfig, .xml, and .plist formats.

Cloudflare, as an organization, was introduced with the goal of creating a better internet experience for the users. As part of their mission to ensure the security and reliability of the web, Cloudflare launched a zero-trust platform, dubbed ‘Cloudflare for Teams.’ With Cloudflare for Teams, enterprises irrespective of their size, scale or resources, can implement security solutions like Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) to help users easily and securely connect to applications without relying on a VPN. Cloudflare also sets up a Secure Web Gateway (SWG) that filters out internet threats. In addition, the Cloudflare WARP helps organizations encrypt traffic flowing from their devices.

With corporates no longer confined by physical space, traditional security measures are insufficient. The ZTNA strategy of ‘no one can be trusted’ seems to be the call of the hour. While Cloudflare for Teams delivers a zero-trust platform, Hexnode assists IT Admins in securing corporate devices.

ZTNA is no longer a choice and corporates have jumped on board with the zero-trust approach. Cloudflare has drawn a lot of attention from small and medium businesses (SMBs) and its integration with Hexnode makes device deployment much easier than ever before. From bulk installation of applications to applying licenses and configurations, Hexnode covers it all.
