Raymond Anderson is the Director at the Life Link Training Institute. For over 2 decades he has traveled nationally and internationally training professions and para-professionals in best-practice methodologies for mental health and substance use. His life has been multi-faceted. He has spent 14 years in the military, lived 4 years in East Africa doing relief-and-development work, and 30 years at a Licensed Community Mental Health facility. Agoston, better known as Ago, has been working in the IT industry for 21 years. So long ago that Pegasus Mail was his first mail client - just to be able to use accented characters in mailing lists. He “converted” in 1998 and started using Linux, but remained open to other systems such as Windows and BSD. Because quality work in a large enterprise environment can only be done with knowledge of multiple systems he is constantly training himself in Linux, Windows, networking and new technologies as well. Education has always been a matter of the heart so he helds IT training since 2000. Since then, he has been teaching continuously, not only in Hungary but also in many European countries. Training topics are Linux and network security, ethical hacking, DevOps and automation.

With an unconventional medley of a resume, I have 15 years of restaurant experience, 5 years of government contact recruiting, and more recently, I began heading the Help Desk/Technical Support department for the largest privately held home health and hospice company in Western Pennsylvania. I would say this role at Gallagher Home Health Services is self-taught, but that is due to our President, Software Developer, my father, and Google. My main job is attempting to make the lives of our clinicians and office staff easier by ensuring efficient and effective technology. I have my hands in various administrative duties, and co-coordinate Gallagher Hospice’s Meal Delivery program that has provided over 1,000 meals to the food insecure in the Pittsburgh area since May. While my bachelor’s in Social Work may not be flexed in my job title, Gallagher’s altruistic values have enabled me to exercise those passions. I hope to achieve my MSW and utilize that for Gallagher’s patients in the future. When the world isn’t overrun with novel viruses, I enjoy traveling with my husband to other countries. In the meantime, being a mom, foster parent, Type-A planner, and English mentor to a Congolese refugee family keep me plenty busy.
