# How to set up an Apple TV Conference Room Display

Apple TV can be used as a Conference room display to easily share the screen of an Airplay-supported device without granting the user access to any other function of the AppleTV. When the conference room display is turned on, it displays network details along with instructions on how to connect to AppleTV using Airplay.

 Notes:- An Apple TV with tvOS 10.2 or later.
- The device should be enrolled in Hexnode.
- The device must be supervised.

 

Setting up Conference Room Display
----------------------------------

1. Navigate to **Policies** from your Hexnode portal and create a **New Policy** > **New Blank Policy** or update an existing one.
2. From **AppleTV**, select **Conference Room Display**
3. Click on **Configure** and type in a message you would like to display on-screen. 4. Navigate to **Policy Targets** and click on **Add Devices** to select the target devices.
5. Click **Save**.

The conference display will be applied to the device.

To exit from conference room display mode you need to remove the policy from the device and restart the device.
To remove a policy from the device,

1. Log in to your Hexnode UEM portal.
2. Go to **Manage > Devices**.
3. Click on the device from which the policy is to be removed.
4. Click on the **Policies** subtab and remove the policy by clicking on the trash icon.

 Exceptions:- If the policy is associated with a custom device group, then you cannot remove the policy from a specific device. You’ll have to remove the device from the device group.
- If the policy is associated with a dynamic device group, then you cannot remove the policy from a device.

To remove a device from the policy, 1. Login to your Hexnode UEM portal.
2. Go to **Policies** and select the policy.
3. From **Policy Targets**, click on **remove** to detach the device from the policy.
4. Save the policy.
