Remote Actions supported by Hexnode – A platform-wise comparison
Remote actions are instantaneous commands executed on the devices managed from the Hexnode MDM portal. These actions enable the administrator to perform remote management operations across devices, users, groups and domains within an enterprise. Actions available on the endpoints vary with OS platforms and device configurations. Based on the requirement, the organizations can selectively choose the devices individually or in bulk to execute actions on them. Here is the platform-specific compatibility of remote actions supported by Hexnode.

| Execute Custom Script | This feature lets the admin control devices remotely by deploying custom scripts. The script will contain commands that will be executed on the device. |

| Clear Activation Lock | This can prove useful when an employee leaves the organization without signing out of his Apple ID. The Activation Lock feature of Apple necessitates the user to log in to iCloud account that was previously configured on the device during the device startup process. Using this feature, admins can reset the device and continue to set it up without signing into the previously configured iCloud account. |
