# How can you remove the work profile from a managed Android device?

The work profile can be removed from a managed Android device. The work profile securely separates the apps and data in the work environment from the personal space.

From an Android Enterprise Profile Owner enrolled device, go to **Settings > Accounts** and click on **Remove work profile** to remove the work profile from the device. If you want to reconfigure the work profile on the same device, open the Hexnode For Work app and click on **SET UP**.

To remove the work profile from an Android Enterprise Device Owner enrolled device, you have to reset the device to its factory settings.
