# Deploy Ditto tvOS receiver on devices using Hexnode This guide will help you deploy the Ditto Receiver to your tvOS devices using Hexnode UEM. By following the steps provided, you’ll configure your Apple TVs as Ditto receivers – devices running the Ditto Receiver app that lets you remotely manage and display digital signage content. This will help you create a well-managed environment for presentations, meetings, and digital displays, making communication with employees more engaging and efficient. Pre-requisite: Ensure your Apple Business Manager VPP account is integrated with the Hexnode UEM portal to add the Ditto Receiver app to the app inventory. For detailed steps on VPP integration, refer to [ this section.](https://www.hexnode.com/mobile-device-management/help/deploying-vpp-apps-on-apple-tv/#integrating-vpp-account) Follow these steps to deploy the Ditto Receiver app to your tvOS devices using Hexnode UEM: Step 1: Install the Ditto Receiver app on tvOS devices ------------------------------------------------------ 1. Log in to your Hexnode UEM portal. 2. Choose the tvOS device(s) you want Ditto deployed on. 3. Select **Actions**, then scroll down to select **Install Application**. 4. Select **Ditto Receiver** then click **Install**. 5. The app will get installed on selected tvOS devices in a few minutes. Step 2: Create the deployment policy ------------------------------------ 1. On your Hexnode UEM portal, navigate to **Policies > New Policy > Kiosk Lockdown**. 2. Give a name and description (optional) for the policy. 3. Then choose the **Single App kiosk** option under the **Apple TV Kiosk Lockdown** section. 4. Click **Configure**. 5. Click on the **+** button and add the *Ditto Receiver* app. 6. Choose the **Policy Targets** and **Save** the policy. Or 8. Save the policy without choosing the **Policy Targets**. 9. Go to the **Manage** tab and select the desired Apple TV(s), then select **Actions**. Scroll down and select **Associate Policy**. 10. Choose the created *Ditto receiver single app kiosk policy* and click on *Associate.* Step 3: Set up a tvOS device as a Ditto Receiver ------------------------------------------------ 1. Open the Ditto tvOS Receiver app on your tvOS device. You will see a pairing code. 2. Click on the **Receivers** tab and click **New Receiver or Add Your First Receiver**. Enter the pairing code displayed on the Apple TV and click **Pair Receiver**. Your Apple TV will be paired to your Ditto account as a receiver. 6. Next, add the receiver to a room. For that, click the **Rooms** tab. Click **New Room** or **Add Your First Room**. 1. **Room Name**: Enter a room name. This is a way to identify the room in the Ditto portal. 2. **Add Receiver**: Add a receiver to this room. This is how you make a room active. A receiver is simply the device in the room that Ditto connects to. 3. **Location** (optional): Designate a location. Locations make it easy to organize rooms in the Ditto portal. 4. **Room Groups** (optional): Add this room to a location. Locations are like categories that help you filter in the account portal. Click **Create Room** to create a room for your Ditto account. 9. In the next window, you will be provided with the created room’s overview. 10. Verify the details and click **Save Room**. Step 4: Create digital signage ------------------------------ 1. On your Ditto account portal, select the option **Signage** and click **New List**. Add a name to the list and choose the **Signage List Type**. 3. Assign the list to your desired Ditto rooms. 4. Click **Create**. 5. From the upcoming window, select your newly created list and then select the **Signage Items** tab. 6. Choose **New Item**. 7. Choose from one of the provided templates or upload custom content with the **Media** template. Once your signage item is created, click **Save Signage**. 9. If you want to add additional signage items to the list, click on the signage list, and click **New Item**. You can *Edit, Schedule, Hide,* or *Delete* the added signage list by clicking on the list.
